Hidden antennas on 2014 Limited?
#1
Does anyone have experience or opinions on the J&M Audio hidden AM/FM/WB and CB antennas for the 2014 Limited?
I'm looking specifically at these two products:
FPA-HCFM14-P J&M FLEXPOWER In-Fairing AM/FM/WB Antenna 2014 Harley Ultra/StreetGlide $49.99
http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....D=FPA-HCFM14-P
FPA-HCCB-14 J&M FLEXPOWER CB Antenna 2014 Harley Ultra/StrGld w/Harley CB Radio $89.99
http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....ID=FPA-HCCB-14
The AM/FM/WB is a passive design this year and claims to be better than the HD powered hidden antenna. The CB is the only internal CB antenna that I'm aware of.
I'm looking to have full radio functionality with a detachable tour-pak and not have to worry about fussing with the external antennas any longer.

On the 2014 'J&M FLEXPOWER AM/FM/WB fairing antenna ,,, it is a stand-alone unit, and is NOT connected to the rear mounted AM/FM antenna ,,,,
Performance is so close to the rear antenna, that it is not necessary to provide the Y-type connection, like we did with the CB antenna side ,,,,,,
best way to do all of this, ((Unless you are removing your tail trunk permanently)) is to install the 'J&M CB antenna fix-it kit here http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....ctID=CBAU-HU14 ,,,,,,,
then this in fairing Flexpower CB antenna http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....ID=FPA-HCCB-14 ,,,,,,,
then this in-fairing Flexpower AM/FM antenna kit http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....D=FPA-HCFM14-P ,,,,,,,,,
that way ,,,, you have THE best antenna performance possible, with the tail trunk on the bike OR removed ,,,,

OTW, are you anywhere near the Delaware Water Gap? Bunch of geezers from up that area ride every Wed, and Sunday.

Ok, thanks. I care more about FM than CB so I'll order them. I'm also going to get the tourpak detach kit. Love the look of your bike without the tourpak.

When I need the storage for a trip, it's only a few minutes to latch it back on.
