Guys, is there a cap to plug the holes in the tourpack once you take the antennas off? I'm also waiting for the quick release for the tourpack, but was wondering what you fill the holes with.

You can do like I did. I pulled the antenna stems back into the tourpak then plugged the holes with plastic hole plugs from Widgetco.

2-8MM-180-P 4 8mm (5/16") Black Hole Cover Widget. Polypropylene.

So I think I just messed up. I ordered both JM antennas but also ordered the Tourpak Detach kit. That also comes with a hidden FM antenna, right? Should I cancel the JM one and just use the one from HD?

There are two different kits. One is JUST the tour Pak bracket. The other includes the lights, license plate bracket and a bracket to move your antenna down like a SG. None include a hidden antenna.

Thanks, right after I ordered, I had an oh **** moment. Looks like I did the right thing by mistake.

And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind limber.

I finally got out with the HOG group for a nice 160 mile lunch run up along the Delaware river between NY and PA today. The J&M internal CB antenna worked flawlessly. Receive and transmit was crystal clear up and down the line of bikes and when the tail got caught at a couple of traffic lights. At lunch, guys were asking me where my CB antenna was! They stated I sounded no different than those with the whip antennas.

Al,

It was great, if not a bit random, meeting you IRL at the Cedar Rapids Inn in Barryville, NY This afternoon!

It's a small world when someone walks up to you at a lunch stop, 100 miles from home, and asks "Are you offthewall?" LOL.
