Default Local dealer workshop on infotainment

My local dealer is having a workshop on the new infotainment system for the 2014 line up. Is this thing really that complicated?

I just find it amusing don't why but it just does

Gotta say I sure do like allot of the changes on the 14

It is not that complicated but has lots of layers, The GPS system is poor....at best. Those of us that followed a Zumo will be very disappointed the the crap the MOCO is putting out there.

Good PR on the dealers part. Makes them look like there are taking that extra step in customer service.

I just received an email that mine is doing the same (frankly, I wondered who'd explain it to them...) HD must have developed a new marketing plan. I'm of a mind to go and inquire over when the new firmware will be available

not sure what everyone thinks is so poor about the GPS you type in an address it takes you there, need a fuel station it takes you to the closest one, need a dealer boom its there.

not sure what else I would need it to do but then again I barely ever use one anyway its to easy to get where I want to go without one.

Nah, I prefer the '14 system. I never used the Zumo's route-saving and multi-waypoint features, so I don't miss them. Instead, I used the Zumo for playing music and audiobooks--which it did poorly and with many bugs--and the new system does that much better. Single-destination routing works just as well, but the killer feature is having a nice big screen to see the shape of the road ahead in higher resolution and greater detail. That's an awesome feature up here in the mountains. Then, add the voice recognition, and it suuddenly leaps miles ahead.

I traded in the old Ultra, and kept the Zumo for the Jeep, in case I drive it topless and it rains.

I just got a firmware upgrade about two weeks ago. Go ask. Maybe the answer will be, "right now. Wheel 'er in."

I haven't found any bugs in the upgrade yet.

Talking

Seems a good idea to help owners of a new product to learn a little about them, rather than them having to read the users manual......
