Default Aftermarket CD Player in a 1989 FLHTC

I would like to install an aftermarket cd player. I would like to be able to use the controls for volume and station on the handlebars. Anyone know how to do this?

Here ya go:

This is the kit I used on my 91 and it worked great.
You can also get a complete kit with the radio:

Biketronics -BT1000
Weight:1.0lbs
List Price: $199.95
The RetroRadio kit is the affordable path to in-dash CD/MP3 upgrades for your Harley Davidson touring bike. In fact the RetroRadio plug-in converter works with a broad selection of modern in-dash players from Sony, allowing you to choose the features and price that's right for you. (Biketronics is an authorized Sony distributor.)

Starting at less than half the cost of factory packages, RetroRadio lets you tap into the latest audio technology including CD, MP3, XM & Sirius as well as blue-tooth.

The patent applied RetroRadio controller makes the connection from the bikes thumb controls to the radio with a plug-in module...No hacking on Harley wires! It's the only module on the market that senses bike speed to make adjustments to volume automatically!

Installation is a snap; package contains RetroRadio plug-in interface controller, radio mounts, trim, and hardware. Made in America. (Deck/speaker/antenna options available separately.)

Call Biketronics today to find out more about this and other breakthrough plug-in products.
