North GA 60, Monshiner 28 are both swell roads. Stay out of gatlinburg and pigion forge unless you like traffic. hit the dragon in the middle of the week.

As mentioned by others, there's lots to keep you busy. Just get you're butt down here and worry 'bout it later. We'd love to have ya.

It's a done deal. Leaving East Texas June 21, arriving in either Gatlinburg or Robbinsville the night of the 22nd.

Thanks for all the suggestions and help, guys. Ride Safe

Great places to stay...

We stumbled upon the skyline village and just really had great time with Mike and Lynn. They are really nice folks... Same experience at the lodge at tellico.

Hopefully your do more then the Dragon. Hate to bust anyones bubble but the Dragon is a lot of hype. Once we got done riding it in August, I said to my buddy, that's it!!!!! The roads leading to it were more challenging and scenic. At least I crossed it off my bucket list but I would never ride it again....

A Holiday Motel is a great, clean & cheap place to stay. Restaurant right next door. The female owner was easy on the eyes also and very friendly...Love those Russian gals!!!!!!

The dragon is a "must ride" but after a few times, there are much less traveled and more interesting roads to see in the area. I thought I might be able to add to the list, but pretty much everything has been mentioned. Don't be afraid to stop in a local Walmart (in Tennessee) and pick up a state gazeteer map. All the back roads are on it. You might find something great and can share it with us when you get back!
