Smile My New 2014 Road King

Got my first brand new bike. I don't have pics yet, Harley will be delivering sometime this week and I'll flood this post with some photos

Black with the grey pin stripe!!!

I'm coming from a FatBob which I really like but the King is just something I've been wanting for a while now since I've been doing a lot of cruising. Obviously I'm very excited.

Nice bike I always love seeing kings . You see so many front batwing fairings .

I came from a fatbob with forward controls to a 14 SG. At first I thought the new bike was actually less comfortable despite being larger . The new touring line bikes are much more cramped than a bike with forward controls . However now that I'm used to riding the new bikeim much happier with it all around !

Nothing worse in the world than waiting on a "new" bike to be delivered. I've never been a real patient person. They are going to call this afternoon and set up delivery time.

Then I can get some pics. I've been reading these forums long enough to know you're not supposed to make a post "NEW BIKE" without having some pictures

I agree they feel cramped to me also. I use a Mustang Super solo which puts me back an inch and move my floorboards out an inch. When I get my 14 this week I may play with moving the boards forward an inch also. Its a completely different feel when I do all that. Oh and I cant forget the apes.

Congrats on the new bike. I'm thinking about trading up to a '14 also, but will wait until the '15s come out in August. Much better deals can be had on leftovers. I just hope I don't have to settle for black again. Wanting the blue/black two tone, or the whiskey amber/silver two tone this time.
