Winter tourers; heat gloves questions

Yeah, I'm thinking my money would be better spent on a jacket liner with the glove liners instead of the gloves. One, I don't ride that much in arctic weather and two, I'm liking the thinner possibilities with the glove liners and my deerskins.

Me and the wife use Gerbing whole heated gears jacket liner, gloves, pants and socks since 2005 yes it is PITA to remember to put on every thing in order but after doing for a while you get used to it.But sure it feels great regardless how cold it gets as long as no ice on the road you can keep on going.

The Powerlet glove liners are great, I tried the Gerbings liners but they were way too thick & bulky. The Powerlet liners are very thin & I think the big advantage is you can pair them with any glove, lined or unlined depending on the temps. I've had them for 2 years & they're the best heated purchase I've made.

I started having circulation issues in my fingers a couple of years ago, and have same trouble keeping my fingers warm. I didn't like the bulky gloves, so ended up using a larger size thin glove, and First Gear glove liners... works great... when it gets warm i can just take out the glover liners, or switch to a normal size glove...

I have a friend who is a linesman, who can be out in all weathers. To keep warm enough that he can continue to work, he was taught to keep warm his kidneys, neck, ankles and wrists. Gloves come last!
So while riding ensure you are keeping your back, neck, ankles and wrists free from draughts and well insulated. A heated jacket or liner is a good idea, as are heated grips, in my experience. The beauty of grips is that they are available all year round, such as on chill summer evenings, or in rain, when hands can get cold.
As for warm gloves, I am looking at the following ad on HDF!:
