I was one of the guys who touted the quality and price of the lowers, so it bums me out to hear of a member getting the shaft from the vendor. Part of the vendor's worth is taking care of folks when things don't go well and this dude took his eye off the ball!

 

Mine are perfect for months now.

I'm as red-blooded American as they come but guys really.. the whole "Chinese junk" thing is REALLY old... Whatever is not made in China now-a-days is made in Taiwan. It just is what it is. Get over it!

 

^ Quality parts are generally not made in China.. At least that's been my experience. A stock HD may come with parts made overseas I'm not exactly sure but aftermarket parts (quality ones) are generally made in USA.
AMF of course had Japanese parts, but damn... you get what you pay for...

A quality set of pipes is around $1,000 (including header) but I've seen chinese slip on's for $125.00... Guess which ones would last longer?
