Default Heated Gear Question

Thinking about buying the HD/Gerbing Heated Jacket Liner and Pants Liner.
I have a '14 SGS and already added the 300 watt amp.
Does anyone know if I will have to upgrade the electrical system to handle the extra load?

You'll be fine. Amperage draw for the gear is listed on Gerbing's page.

Even at stock it would have handled it just fine.

I have the HD/Gerbing gloves and jacket liner. Amazing! And Gerbing stands behind them because my gloves crapped out last year at the end of the season. I contacted Gerbing and they send to send in the jacket liner, controller and gloves. They checked everything and fixed the problem in the RH glove. No trouble since and no cost (except postage) to me. Like titched said, you will wonder how you ever lived without it.

Thats why its better to buy the Gerbings, not HD's version. Another better option is to get the warmnsafe remote controller, the gerbing ones dont like voltage spikes or reverse polarity, and the WnS ones are rebuildable if you had to.
