New heated grips

New heated grips
I'm thinking about changing from the stock heated grips on my 14 FLHTK to some that are "prettier". The stock grips work well but when I change the boards and pegs and such, I think the grips could use some sprucing up, too.
This is my first bike with heated grips, so be kind, please.
Do I have to completely re-run the wires (pulling the old wires and replacing them with the new ones) or is it possible to leave the existing wires in place and just change the grips? Cut, splice, solder is no problem for me if that is a possibility.
I'm guessing the answer is no, but until I have them in hand, so to speak, I won't know for sure.
TIA,

I have put heated grips on 3 bikes over the years that did not already have them. On all of those the grips were complete. So you would need to run the wires to the connectors. Cutting and splicing wires inside the bars is not good. It is a tight fit already and there are some pretty important wires that you don't want to chafe and short.
