Here is the after pic. I took a short ride. With new bars. Then came back to house and had to pull them back a little more. Then went for a longer ride. Seems to be a lot better on my back. Not sure if I like the look or not. I am only out 48 bucks so I will use them for awhile. If I don't like them I will go with some cubby apes.

I put the Wild One Chubby 508's on mine, and they are the bomb! I've got a ton of comfortable miles on them. You need to at least look at them, before you make the decision.

I checked out your bars. I do like them. Can you use factory cables and wiring? Love your bike by the way

I have Wild 1 WO518's on my Road King and I really like the way they look and feel. Wild 1 advertising shows that WO508's are recommended for riders shorter than 5'9" so the OP might want to check those out.

I just rocked my Heritage bars ALL THE WAY back...Like as far as the could go without hitting the tank/speedo. They are close enough, but might be a little too low. Very similar to the position of the bars on my old EGC. Good wrist angle.

Cheap fix. No need to change cables. Might go with Santee 11" Mini Apes if I can't get settled in.

I have put some miles on, with the heritage style bars I purchased off ebay. I have to say they made a world of difference. I did notice a small handling difference, not a big deal. Most of that is just getting used to the new bars.

Hi! since you replaced your stock bar with more pullback bar, did you have to replace any of your cables or brakes lines? Thanks

I rode from Choteau,Montana to Houma, Louisiana and back with the Herritage style bars. Around 4500 miles when all said and done. They are so much better than stock bars. The only thing I don't like about them is how they look. I went to my local dealer and was sized for new bars.
I ended up ordering some wild 1 chubby 502 road king bars. 12.5" rise and a 12"pull back. All my parts will be delivered by Wednesday of next week. I am going to do it all myself. I am really looking forward to the project. I will post pics as I go along.
