Default Front rotor bolt size?

Are all front wheel rotor bolts supposed to be 5/16"? I bought a wheel and was told it was a front 2006 wagon wheel. Problem is the rotor bolts holes are 3/8". Is there any way this is a front wheel or is it a back. It's the same both sides 3/8". I've already had the tire mounted and I'm trying to decide if I should have my rotors holes enlarged to 3/8 so the bolts fit through them and fit the wheel.

It's not gonna be a back wheel because the rear has only one disk. Doesn't have bolt holes on both sides.

The bolt size for the front is a 5/16-18 x 7/8 Torx and the rear is a 3/8-16 x 1.

Not quite true. A rear wheel has bolt holes on both sides. The left side takes a 7/16-14 to fasten the drive sprocket and the right side takes a 3/8-16 for the rotor. I would double check the thread size on both sides. There is only 1/16" difference between a 3/8 and 7/16 bolt diameter.

Is this for all years for the front? Well at least through 2008? I'm starting to think somebody re tapped the threads in this wheel. F*CK what a waste of money. Looks like I'm looking for another front wheel.

Ok that makes more sense. Still up **** creek though. I've already had new bearings installed and a new front tire installed on the rim, live and learn I guess. The guy I bought it from, at a swap meet, told me it was a front wheel and I just assumed he told me the truth.

3/8 is for the rear rotor as stated above.

After having the 5/16 bolts loosen up, I drilled the disc and wheel to 3/8, used 3/8 bolts and Nylock nuts have not had a problem for the last 10 years. Best solution IMO.

Soos you would be correct. I was picturing the rear wheel in my mind with the hub attached.
