Default What do you think of the Badlander Seat

I have an 06 Ultra that has now been converted to an Ultra Street Glide. The only thing that looks out of place is the stock Ultra Seat, which by the way has got to be the most comfortable seat I have ever sat in. Is the Badlander of equal comfort ?

Have had them on several Softails I have owned , Let me say it is one of the best LOOKING seats out there BUT defiantly NOT the most comfortable. If I was going to a bike show I had it on ,if out riding take it off and put on the stock sofa , that's the beauty one screw and its off 2 minutes.

I have a badlander that I use occasionally on my Roadglide. It is like riding on a brick and actually sits me higher than my stock seat. Mustang or Corbin is the way to go.

I had a Fatboy and I called my Badlander my 50 mile seat. Hands down the best looking seat but hard as a rock. My wife would not even get on the Fatboy with that seat on there (not always a bad thing though). I have a Roadglide now and still would like to get one for that just for the shorter rides.

I've got a badlander on my 06 FLHTI and really didn't care for the look and feel of the stock seat. I purchased the badlander and it's good for some modest trips, ie 200 miles or so but you will have to get off and stretch a bit. I'm sending my stock seat to www.meancitycycles.com to have them work their magic on the stock seat since it pushes you too far forward and they have made some other owners quite happy, plus the charge is quite cheap and makes a world of difference. I've had some corbins on my other sport bikes and I just can't see the extra cost. Saddlemen makes a profiler which looks nice and not too expensive. Hope this helps ya out

I like the looks of the Badlander, but really like the looks of the Stripper, like 175 said. I OWN a Mustang Daytripper. If you want a sleek low profile seat that actually feels good for not a lot of money...it's the best of both worlds.
