RE: New 07 Ultra
New member here myself. I've had my 07 since September and love it. Done some upgrades so far but now ready for the Cobalt Blue colormatched inner fairing and switchcap lower.......and (possibly) chrome lower forktubes.
Black would have been my other preference, but once I saw this combination, and envisioned it with the modifications that I wanted to do....my mind was made up.
Enjoy your new ride (reguardless of the color!!) most everyone does.

RE: New 07 Ultra
Come on lets ride! I haven't been disappointed yet on any HD. Have always felt each model was pretty well designed to do what one would expect of it in the traditional Harley style. When we couple that with the diverse capabilities that Harley and the aftermarket has to offer, what more could one ask for. Curious if anyone is running synth oil or oil cooler yet. The only thing I can't yet evaluate is the reported heat issues regarding my chosen upgrades. My take on the 5th gear is a typical Harley telling me choose another gear. I feel the RPM ranges in each requires a bit more experience on my part but so far feel they sliced up the pie pretty good. I truly appreciate that 6th. Done well by me. As soon as the weather breaks I hope to get some pics up. Suppose I could have but I was more concerned with putting it in the wind, Go Figure!
Black is black and always will be black. I remember when all were black or so it seemed. But allot was different then. Harley was still Harley, before AMF. Model selection was limited by comparison. Choppers were a whole other animal. Things are coming full circle again as well. Classic Harley has never gone out of style. I figure its the nostalgia and Americana of it all, rolled into one.
Speaking of nostalgic I have always been a spoke guy. But logicaly deduced that my road machine needed to have cast wheels for the long haul. Again time will tell as it's a first for me.

I would like to hear your take on the VH ovals and the PCIII. I ran a PC n my last TC88 and was very pleased with the performance and ridability. Did read alot here already but still would like to hear yours unless you may have already posted something you can point me to.
