It should be in the owner's manual that came with the bike.

If you don't have the owner's manual add oil til you hit the full mark (between 3 and 4 qts).

My 09 says 3.5 qt then run engine and check oil hot. Add as necessary to top off but it's a 96" motor and may not be the same.

I run mine about 1/2 qt low.

I put 3 quarts in to the oil engine and check to add a little more (filter).
I put one quart in the primary chain
I put 28 ounces in the tranny
Hope it helps. Good luck.

Out of the 2014 Trike owners manual

Engine oil with filter* 4 qt

Transmission** 1qt

Primary (approximate) 1.4qt

* when refilling, initially add 3qt and add as needed to bring level within Specifications

** when refilling, initially add 28oz and add as needed to bring level within Specifications

Is there a reason why you run your oil/air cooled engine 1/2 quart low?

Your 2014 owners manual will give you the answers. You need to read that thing anyway.

Because its known to lessen blow-by venting out the air cleaner. I have never understood it but somehow it works for some people.
