Default Saddle bag top lid protector

Ok guys, I'm looking to see what's out there to protect the top lid of the saddlebag from getting all scratched up. Just want to know what works best, and if you have any pic.

Good carnuba wax job. Carnuba is a natural tree wax and protects paint from fingers, oils, acids, and light stuff being set on it. Lasts about 4 months, then do it again. Lots of quality wax are based on carnuba. Cheap waxes less, better waxes more. Also good for fenders and tanks, side covers ans what ever else you have painted, cleared, or anodized.

It will wash off with soap or detergent. If you wash the bike with a cleaner, you need to rewax. I little bit, ie a thimblefull will cover an entire Ultra.

I used the Transparent Lid Protectors from the Harley Catalog. They have worked great so far.

I've had the Harley brand. Prefer the RideTek lid covers. They fit much better.
