it says the adapter is under the seat... however, i cannot find it anywhere -- except for the one I have already identified... but it only has 3 wires... black, gray, and red wires...

for what its worth the acc plug has four wires
orange/red-red/yellow-orange and black
does not make sense it tells to you to use the acc plug
the only other I see that uses black/blue/and red with yellow stripe is the tour pak connector, which you don't use.
however the same color combo and tour pak harness is used in rear facia lamp on the street glide
it runs along the left rear facia near the antenna and antenna bracket

well, we got a winner and a loser...

winner -- i found that damn deutsch plug finally... absolutely no slack and tucked down under several other harnesses in front of the battery... so we win.

loser... my frustration led me to connect the LED wires to the harness plug - but i mixed up 2 of the 3 wires... the white is where the black should be and vice versa...

anyone know how to get the little metal tab things out of the connector without royally screwing things up?

(I knew i shouldn't have been working while frustrated).

THanks everyone.

do your self a favor before moving the pins
grab some paperclips, sraighten them out and use them to jump to the connector the correct way it should be wired, then try your spoiler led's
may save you another headache

I also would do a test run before I pulled the pins.

Hey Coug, I hope you haven't gotten into the ECM Datalink connector, It's located where you said you found your plug and the datalink plug has only 3 wires. I see I'm to late to help, Glad you found it!!
