Default Chopped pac for solo riding

Ey all, I just can't get my brain to work with figuring out how you go about putting a chopped PAC in a solo position so it can be used as a backrest too. I have an 02 electraglide with four point docking (I currently use the stock tour PAC) that I just hate. To achieve the solo position...is it by purchasing a special mount or do you position a standard mount in reverse or attach mount to PAC in a forward position? If it's a special mount, where to to get one?

You need a solo rider bracket vs a two up mounting bracket for your tourpak.

K, got it! Thanks. Now for my next thought. Does anyone know if this rack sold by Harley would allow enough height to place the pacin a solo position over a street glide seat? The info page under fitting states "on bikes fitted with solo seats". I'm committed to a street glide seat dud to my extended tank

no, it won't. you're going to need a solo seat for it, the 'badlander' style seats don't fit under the rack.

i had an 07 that i had a solo tourpak mounted, and even my corbin classic solo wouldn't work. the back of the seat where the locking hardware was concealed made the back end of the seat protrude back too far.

I couldn't find one so I built my own bracket to allow the stock SG seat to work with the TP in a solo position. Worked out pretty well.

That looks comfortable. Now I just got to figure out where the wife will sit.

Check out Legends in Utah they make a slider bracket that would do the trick they have a website
Legends vintage motorcycles search with that

I have both Harley mounts...solo and two-up. Only takes a few minutes to swap them out as needed. If I'm doing a trip less than a week, the tour pak goes in the solo position.

You need the harley solo rack.
I use that with a solo seat and chopped tourpack and it is really comfortable.
