Default Lowers on your Street Glide

This winter I am going to get my wheels powder coated. Also probably going to add some lowers with speakers. Have seen a couple pics of bikes on here and am really starting to like the look. Would love to see some more pics of your Street Glides with lowers.

Here are a couple of pictures before the turbo install. I really liked the lowers, but be prepared for some additional heat.

Here's mine. Love the look and function. Leave them on year round.

a good way to alleviate some of that additional heat is to completely remove the vent doors in the warmer months. only takes a few minutes for me, not sure how much longer it would take on lowers with speakers in them

Really liked the lowers on my SG. Change in airflow over the front made the short SG windscreen a lot more rider friendly. Nice to have them in the rain or cold as well. I put speakers in the lowers on my RGU and they really made a difference in volume at speed.

Had speakers in the saddlebag lids on the last bike. No matter what I did to seal them up, there always was a little bit of water infiltration. Didn't really want to give up the storage in the lowers but I do like the sound of the mid bass in the lowers. Added an amp and the sound system rocks!

LOL! Just pulled it outside to take pics so nobody would complain about how messy my garage was! Was -40 a couple nights ago....no riding for a few months yet.

2 years ago I was able to go for a short ride Christmas day. Not bad for Winterpeg (Winnipeg....go Jets)
