Default Can you tell difference between ABS and Non-ABS by looking at them?

Looking to buy a set of Agitator take-offs which guy said came off a 2011 CVO Road Glide with no miles since titled. Guy said they have non-ABS bearings. I thought ABS was standard on all the newer CVOs. Is there a way to look at the bearings and tell when the are still pressed in the rims?

Thanks in advance.

I have ABS on my RK, and only noticed a magnet on the rotor and the pick up sensor by the caliper. I'm not aware any differance in the bearings.

Yes, the ABS bearing on mine looks noticeably different than the one on the other side if you're just looking at the wheel off the bike.

Either way having the bearings changed is pretty cheap.

That's not a magnet and not how the ABS works. Follow the wire down the fork leg and see where it goes. The sensor is directly over one of the bearings and as I seem to recall has a different color seal than the non ABS bearing.

Item 8 in the attached pic is the ABS sensor as you can see it sits directly over the bearing.

the ABS bearing is thicker, and has a very specific look to it. ABS is on the left in photo

The ABS bearing seal is grey, the non-ABS bearing seal is black. This is when they are installed so I am talking about the outer seal that you can see when the bearings are installed in the wheel. I just went through this about 2 weeks ago.

The ABS bearing is sort of whitish or grayish, the standard bearing is black or orange. ABS will only be one side of each wheel but CVO models from 11 do come with ABS standard.

If you have ABS and DON'T have a fender light you will have 2 cables/wires running to the front wheel on the left side of the front wheel. With a fender light, there are three but the fender light wire feeds into the side of the fender. Also, the hub on an ABS bike is black. But the cables/wires count is what I used to tell when I was looking at used bikes...... You would think sellers would mention it but you'd be surprised at how many had ABS but it wasn't mentioned in the ad.......
