Even though I bought my Harley (1st one) a couple of months ago, and it was received at the dealership day after Thanksgiving, I still didn't feel like a harley owner until yesterday. I finally picked up my bike last night. It was a balmy 24 degrees. I bundled up and drove her home. Cold? Yes! Worth it? Hell yes! I came equipped with my flash drive filled with Van Halen. Inserted it until the USB port and drove off. Bike felt nice and solid. It was 28 miles home. I decided to take the local route rather then the highway. A few people stared at me, although, I would like to think they were looking at my gorgeous bike...I'm sure they were thinking what is this nut doing! Lol...here are a few pics.

The cloth lowers did help with the cold wind last night.

2 bikes in the garage. Don't mind the mess. I'm actually working on the house installing molding so it is a mess. Once done I'll have my garage back in order.

Nice new ride! Mess? What mess? I'm always doing a project so there's always clutter.

Looks great, congrats on your new ride I rode mine to the harley dealership a week ago and I live in NH. It's not that bad if you dress for it. It looks like they are gonna have to trailer it back now as there is snow and ice everywhere! winter is torture for a boat and bike owner lol.

Staring at the nut driving in the cold? I don't think so! They were staring at the sweet looking bike, and listening to the sweet sound of those street cannons, and the Van Halen tunes cranking out of the Infotainment system.
Congrats Man!
Hope you enjoy riding in the cold cause or get some warm days, it's killing me to look at mine in the garage when its in the teens and the road is all covered in salt.
