It can be a real PITA. Lots of holes to line up. This is one of those you might check with the dealer to see what he would charge.

Thanks guys! I was wondering if some of the vertical hardware stayed - but it all looks good.

ORIGINAL: iclick

Amen to that! I almost started throwing things at one point, and I'm embarassed to say how long it took me to install just the docking kit for the solo Tour Pak. As you said, the instructions suck big time.
Man I like that solo tourpac set up iclick. No wiring, and the bike must handle better as well as look sleeker!

Make sure you have both kits to install at the same time so you only have to take it apart once. Even if you don't have tour pak or back rest yet.

As the others have said, yes they can. MOST importantly, the directions from HD SUK and be prepared to cuss like ya aint never cussed, throw lots of crap, breakdown and want to jest cry lol. I just five minutes ago finished putting mine on. It only took me seven hours! Absolutely a pathetic design. 5 of those hours were spent trying to get one fuggin bolt in. All in all, yes it was a damn nightmare lol. I'd highly recommend checking with your dealer for an install price unless you've got lots of time to waste.
