Default High Capacity Oil Pan

Has anyone installed the High Capacity Oil Pan? I like this idea, but it looks huge. (That what she said ) I scrape by floorboards probably more than I should and I wonder if this oil pan will also scrape. What about speed bumps?

You know I thought about it myself, but talked myself out of it.
first because of the price. second my experiance has shown only about a 5/10 degree diff in temp. And if your running quality sythetic oil you should'nt need it.
Thats just me....

Forget worrying about synthetic oil, just run quality oil.

I don't see any advantage to a larger oil tank. If heat is a problem get a good oil cooler. Spend your money on something else. Something that will really be an improvement. Like a better air cleaner or cam or even a dyno tune.

Baker also make high capacity oil pans, with the added benefit of working with a True-Track stabilizer.
