VH Twin Slash Cuts or KW Supersavers
#2
I was looking for deep sound and not too loud, ended up getting the KW ss. Its winter here, so I can't say how they will sound under power. But they do sound deep at idle and maybe with my cat out could be a bit louder then I was looking for. Good Quality and the price was a big selling point. I was also looking at monster rounds but the price was more then I wanted to spend. My bike is a 14 FLHR.

V&H twin slash ovals
cannot speak for the KW's, but I got the V&H twin slash ovals. Love them, deep but got the growl when you twist the right hand.
Unfortunately I need to part from them as I am working on a complete new rear on my 13 SG (Baddad) and have replaced them with slash ups for aesthetics and the fact the ovals will not fit unless I am cutting into the stretched fender.
decatted pipe does make a difference in sound (db level), so you know.
the are not annoyingly loud or droning IMO when cruising.
If interested in them - PM me. have not had the time to put them up for sale yet. they are in great shape....

I have the V&H twin slash rounds (#16763) on my '13 road glide w/hiflow aircleaner and I think they sound great. Not obnoxiuosly loud but has low rumble at idle and aggressive exhaust tone at hard acceleration. At first I was concerned about them being to loud before I installed them but afterwards I was pleased.

Happy with mine. Stage 1 : high flow air cleaner, V & H power dual, V & H twin slash oval , SERT, and dyno tune. Don't know how it would sound with stock head pipe with cat, but my current set up sounds real good to me. By the way you can sneak in late at night if you need to, and set off car alarms if you want to, best of both world.
