RE: How many Metric and HD owner here?
At the present I still have my Gold Wing as well as my Indian and Harley... Someday I will most likely get rid of the Gold Wing and just keep the Indian and Harley. At the present we ride the Harley and Indian the most. If you still ride the metric go ahead and keep it, or if it is just sitting and you don't plan on riding it maybe get rid of it, the choice is yours. You can always use the money to buy more chrome...

RE: How many Metric and HD owner here?
I bought my 2007 StreetGlide in September and a couple of weeks back I added a Metric cruiser to my stable. I actually traded my Kawasaki ZX10R for a Yamaha Roadstar Warrior. The 10R wasn't gettin much attention since I started racing so it needed to go. The Warrior is a fantastic bike in it's own right and different enough from my Harley that I can justify owning it. I ride it around town and save the Harley for the trips. Oh yeah, the Warrior is a great platform for customizing since parts are readily available and initial prushcase price is low. If you like it, keep it, but if you don't ride it send it on it's way. I have a few other non Harley bikes and I love them all equally for different purposes though.

Keep it if you ride it...but, I would get rid of it if you no longer ride it. Harley's are my favorite of them all and the most pleasurable rides out there. If I were to add a metric bike to the stable...it would be at least 25 years old and a classic. In fact, I am still searching for a 1978 Yamaha DT250E...bring back the memories!
I ride Japanese dirtbikes still....because the newest Harley dirtbike today would be about 30 years old. Besides, Japanese makes pretty good dirtbikes. They also make extremely fast sportbikes and small inexpensive streetbikes for beginners.
For cruisers and Tour bikes...go HARLEY go!

I kept my '83 Kaw 750 Twin LTD Belt Drive. Starter is needing replacement, but it kickstarts just fine...but I agree, after getting the Harley even sitting on the ol Kaw feels small and cramped...lol. If I could sell it for a few hundred bucks to someone I would probably do it, justto see it get used.
