I am thinking of selling my slim in order to get a RK and I have a question for you RK owners. I have been looking at images of Road Kings and on some I see the bullet style turn signals on the forks with what looks like a freight train nacelle. On others I see the large disc shaped turns on a light bar under the passing lamps.

If I were to purchase a RK with the light bar, can I get the bullet signals and move them to the forks, doing away with the passing lamps? I prefer the cleaner looking front end over the big light show.

Apologies if this is beat to death, this is my first poke around the Touring forum. Searched the DIY sticky and all I can find is turn signal relocation from the handle bars to the light bar. I want to go from the light bar to the forks with the bullets and don't know if this is a model year specific mod or if it can be done to all years.

 

Yes, Streetglide brackets & lamps can replace light bar. Can also put bullets on the rear using Streetglige setup.
