Do these things work wellas a driver backrest? I was looking at this one and T-bags Tahoe and was thinking the GranTour would solve two issues. Storage and comfort. I usually ride solo and would mount it on the seat against the passenger backrest for extra storage on the short trips. Do they push you up too far? Anyone got one for sale?
I have one but don't use it as a backrest,I just put it on my luggage rack. It's a great bag and very good quality. If you're looking for more room, check out the T-Bags Universal Lonestar bag. I'm thinking of getting one of these for longer trips this summer.
Yes I have one, and I would be willing to part with it too. I have only ever used it once, and I now have a King Tour Pack, so I am not sure I will use t again.
Those Tour Pacs are nice. I rented an '07 Ultra last week and I could 't believe how much stuff I could get in it! I hate when things like this happen because it might make we want to get an Ultra.
I have one that I used for a trip on my Dyna Glide. It works great as a backrest and you can put alot of stuff in it. Be careful when you pull on the tie downs that come with it. I pulled to hard the first time I used them that the clip came off.
I used mine as a backrest going to Sturgis last year -- worked fine and was comfortable. I did find, though, that the lumbar roll pushed me a little to far forward in my Sundowner seat. I took the pad off and it improved the comfort.
