I have looked for past threads and did not see alot.
What is every ones opinion of LED show lights?
i personally like them and want to add some to my new bike

I have looked at the boogey lights they look reputable
but i also saw were some one said that they purchased the lights off of E-Bay and saved a ton of $$ (will those last and are they as bright?)
and what about LED surviving in the rain (if i ride it rains)

Stay away from ANY Kuryakyn product! I put the Spider lights on my ultra. The crap wiring shorts out... they usuallly work, but sometimes one side will go out, and I have to jiggle the wires. Some of them have flat fallen apart! Did I mention that this product is CRAP!!!
I will put some lights on the wifes Deluxe after we get the custom paint set on. Right now, I'm thinking Boogey. Can't wait to hear the other replies.I'll be looking for white lights, and want them to be able to flash randomly... light lightning.

I bought a couple of LED light pods from Advance Auto Parts and put one on the back of the air cleaner and one on the back of the horn. I wired it to the accessory switch Now everything in the "V" glows red for 20 bucks.

RE: LED what do you think of show lights?
My buddyinstalled LED's that he bought at www.cyclegear.com They were a lot cheaper than the Kuryakyn's and others. He has had them on since November and has not had any problems as of yet. They are one solid color and they are a continuous glow. I have other friends that have LED's that change color to the sound of the pipes or music, but these are basic LED's. I am probably going to order a set for my Road King in the near future. Hope this helps.

I have see a few bikes with them on and have mixed feelsing about them. One of the bikes was a Softtail and they had not over done it with LEDs and it looks pretty cool. Another one was an Electra Glide and had so many lights it looked like a circus going down the road. I guess it is a matter of what you like. I kicked it around but decided against the LEDs.

I have an 04 Road King Classic and i purchased my LED's on ebay. I got them very cheap, they work great and i wired them right to the factory toggle switch. PM me if you want the exact information. I road to key west and back from PA and have had no problem with rain. They look great at night. Jon

I got the Custom Dynamics set on my RK custom, and of the hundreds of comments I have gotten, the only negativeones was from guys on this board.
I think, like most things, done in moderation, they are very tasteful, but overdone, they can be extremely tacky. Mine accent the textures and shapes on the bike, but they are not the 'center of attention". There is a black sporty running around town with way too many of those color changing lights on it and it looks horrible.
I done them in a way that you really never see the actual lights, just a cool, even glow.
Heres pics of my bike at night with the glow on and off.
