Thought so, thanks!

Update: yesterday at the dealership, one of the maintenance techs showed me the software they use to reprogram various computer behaviors, like the passing lamps staying on at high beam. Well, that's pretty much the best option they offer. THE SOFTWARE DOES NOT PERMIT RUN/BRAKE/TURN REPROGRAMMING for the Road King light bar. Obviously, no such reprogramming if I were to add lights on my Ultra, either.

So I'm forgoing the saddlebag rail lights for now. I'll wait and see if Harley offers add-on lights next year, or what Kuryakyn comes up with in the meantime. I'm disappointed, but I'm sure they'll offer something I love eventually.

When I first installed the RK turn signals and removed the TP, the Turn Signals functioned as turns AND brake lights. When the Security system was installed, it involved swapping out the BCM and programming it ( they gave me the original BCM back). With the new BCM I lost the brake light function on the turn signals.
I stopped at the dealer, yesterday, and asked about that. I also asked about programming a "run " function into them and was told to bring it back in and they would do it. Two different techs and two different stories.....Since my signals functioned as brake lights ,at first, I have to think my tech may be right. We'll find out about the "run" function at a later time.

The 2014 touring bikes are already wired so that the signals are also brake lights. They do not and can not be running lights as well with the stock setup.

Ahh, THERE is the secret sauce. It's a completely different BCM, so the options I saw on the tech's laptop were unique to a Limited (not mine; mine is an Ultra).

So the question becomes: which BCM do we need, to get this working? The CVO Limited has both TP run/brake/turn LEDs and a brake light assembly WITH AMBER BULLET TURN SIGNALS. I wonder if the CVO BCM would permit a run/brake/turn conversion, with a swap out to red lenses. Who's got a CVO and is willing to be a guinea pig?

Just a quick "Thanks"...

My '14 FLHTCU is being delivered tomorrow.
I also prefer the lollipop turn signals, especially for the rear and have been looking for a 2014 Road King rear turn signal bar, (which looks to be a drop-in add-on) and I came across this thread.

Sure been a long time since I found this site when I got back into riding with a Sporty and I'm going to miss the 05 Glide.

Default Steet Glide Rear Fender on Limited

I just bought a 2014 limited and a matching rear fender from a 2014 street glide. I bought the wiring harness for the street glide and swapped out fenders... The wiring harness was plug and play...I have running lights/turn signals/brake lights. here are a few pics of what the Limited looks like with the street glide fender.

I added the bullet rear turn signal bar part number 68615-04. Had to grind a little on the mounting points to match the fender curve and drill two hole but it was relatively easy and took about an hour. Take off the brake light lens and the light bar plugs right in, very easy to do.

If you want an attention getter for safety get the led flashing brake/taillight.
I have one I made up and installed inside my stock light or you can buy one made up for $200 at most Harley dealers as an aftermarket. You can also get a separate one from emergency vehicles that are 1"x3" and mount under the tourpack with 6 different flashes to pick from for around $70 bucks.

The whole point is you need an attention grabber, when one of these emergency lights starts blinking the cagers see it. Only problem is if you run with a group @ night you need to tape over it at least part way because it blinds everyone behind you.
I slightly disagree. At night they may be enough, but I've ridden behind several 2014's and during the day the lights do not draw much attention at all.
