Default Long Ride Shield

Got my light tint 18" LRS installed on my 2011 RKC. Thanks to the forum for the discount, thanks to the folks at LRS for helping me choose the shield and install it. I haven't ridden far enough to get the full impression, but I like the look, and the bike seems to handle and ride better. As far as buffetting it seems a little worse than stock at lower speeds and better at higher speeds. While there seems to be more wind at low speeds, it feels like more wind but not necessarily more buffeting.
Anyone else with a RK and LRS care to weigh in with their findings? I realize there may be some adjustment time required, just trying to be sure I got the right size windshield.

For me, the buffeting changed to a lighter higher frequency. A lot easier to live with than the thumping I was taking. I don't feel like I've been clubbed over the head by thousands of Saurons Orcs at the end of a ride. I'm still going to try some fork mounted wind deflectors to see if it helps decrease buffeting as much as fellow forum members claim.

Yeah that seems like it, more like a flutter, I just can't recall if this is way better than stock. It seems livable, I'm considering the fork deflectors too.

I think the 19" is the same as the stock shield, which is perfect for me. I have the fork deflectors, and they work great! Not the look I'd like to have, but the function is too valuable to remove. I think that with the LRS shield, and the deflectors, you're gonna be super happy. One of these days I'll get the LRS in stock height as it's perfect for me.

The stock was a little tall for me, and one of the major selling points of the LRS was being able to go shorter than stock. I'm 6'2 and LRS guy who rides a RK said he was 6'4 and uses the 18", I'm still on the fence about the size being correct, but I feel like this summer I'll love the 18" because it's like riding with a shield but not at the same time.

Any problems with the light tint during night rides?

Nope, it's not that dark.

Was not sure if it might glare a little bit more...
