Im not a fan of the flat colors at all. One of my riding buddies has a blue denim SG (beautiful color if it was shiny). He uses Windex on it and it looks like new. Seems easier to care for than my shiny paint!

My SG is almost 2 years old and I still love my denim paint. No problems and easy to maintain. When black denim gets dusty it looks a little Mad Max looking which I think is a good thing

They didn't offer denim black for StreetGlides in 2009 but that's what I would have bought. Flat black powdercoated parts weren't commonly offered in 2009 either so I built an oven, bought a pc gun, and powdercoated my parts flat black myself. I occasionally touch up a few chips with paint but the flat black still looks good.

+1 on this.

I knew nothing about denim paint when I bought my ride, and even polished the tank to 'protect' the finish when I first picked it up from the dealer. Took me ages to get the polish marks out.

If you don't pick up any scratches it's okay, just wash and dry with chamois. If you get scratches then you're stuck with them.

Well it's taking a while to get it done, but it's getting closer!
