I saw a bagger a couple of years ago with that very setup.If my motor needed an oil cooler,that is exactly what I would do.It is not a big deal to set it up.It would give more oil capacity as a plus.

Great post SeaHag. I want to use the crash bar oil cooler myself, BUT I have to use the alternative 'pressure side method' as '08 FLHTC has no external oil lines (I think 06 - 08) I would use the Jag 4700 adaptor. BUT... I am worried about the pressure drop. Don't won't to take a chance starving something at the end of the line of oil. ANYONE out there know how to figure just what the pressure drop would be? There is a pressure drop in commercial coolers and if they are not too far apart.....?
