Don't know why you would want to, I wanted to try one last summer, went with the Avon 180/55/18 on the bike, wow it was like riding on ice, finally had enough of it two months later and threw it away and back to the Dunlop 407, difference in tire is very noticeable in weight and load ratings are no where close.
Don't know why you couldn't put radials on the bike, I would say the only main concern is that both front and rear are radial and compatable.
You mean like a Rocker that has a non radial on the front and a radial on the rear, factory installed. And it is a Dunlop 407 BTW that is a radial rear on the Rocker.
Is there any reason I can't put radial tires on my 2104 ultra limited when its time for tires?
No, along as they are suitable for your bike.
There are a few things to take care of, such as mixing tyre types. Two radials is fine, just as two bias tyres is, however when using one of each only use a radial on the rear, not the front. I have bias front, radial rear on my custom Glide, both the same brand (Avon). One reason I chose the Avon radial is that it has an excellent load rating.
If you find a pair you like the sound of, contact the manufacturer to confirm if they are suitable and ask for the pressures you should use.
Honestly I think in 91 years we'll probably have some better technology you can use. Personally I would wait for the 2105 models though and wait for Harley to work out the bugs of the new Flux Capacitor engine.
