Black only.
Brown only works on an old school bike or one with brown/tan/white/yellow on it.

Just got a text from the wife and she said...Don't get the brown if you do the bike sleeps outside...

I have a brown Le Pera seat on my black Heritage and it looks cool! It certainly stands out from the standard black on black. SJ Ron

I thought she was going to say sleeps with the fishes. Black with silver stitching would be the way to go then!

I had a brown seat on my cvo but the color was a denim pewter and it looked great I think you can definitely pull off brown on a black sled!

I think as long as you don't "black out" the rest of the bike, both would look good.

Just wanted to mention that the 2013 Anniversary seats are two tone brown and black. Just an idea if you simply can't pick on color.
