I did mine a couple of weeks ago, and the cold air in my garage wreaked havoc on the thick oil in my lifters. Gatermans are slow to bleed anyway, and I had to go 1.5 turns, run the engine to thin the oil, and then go back and adjust to 2.5 turns.

I hear ya. Just waiting on heads to finish my 107. It's gonna kill me to wait but no way to assemble in garage that's 35 during the day and 15 at night. Late February to mid March before it warms up enough to do engine assembly.
