http://www.sinstatecycle.com/ is another place to find aftermarket windshields. I have one of their 9" shields on my SG now and I'm happy with it - especially for the price - around $30 shipped!

When cutting down a windshield, I find that using the garage floor (concrete) to smooth the edge is quicker and smoother than a block sander.

I have Harley's 9.5" windshield and very happy with it, I am 6'1"
