Default Vivid or Denim Black SGS?

I really like the blacked out look but having a hard time choosing between the vivid or denim black. I will be buying a FLHXS once winter sets in and I can get a good deal on one.
I have looked at tons of pics of both colors with black exhaust, fork lowers, and various other parts and I just can't decide.

Post up some pics of blacked out black street glides.

Any pros/cons to caring for and maintaining the finish on a vivid or denim black bike?

It sucks watching everybody on here taking delivery and modding their bikes when all I can do is drool... I can't wait to start messing with mine...whatever color it ends up being.

Just remember the SGS has pin striping so if that's not your thing get the standered. There is a few post on the forum that show both but you REALLY should go to the dealer and look.

Great looking ride. I like the red pinstripe better than the grey. Have you found that the matte finish is harder/easier to clean? I noticed a lot of fingerprints on the denim bikes at the dealerships but they did wipe right off. The salesman said that all you have to do to clean it is use windex. Have you found any quirks while cleaning?

I would rather not have any pinstriping but for the minimal price difference to obtain the upgraded shocks, infotainment system, abs and security I can live with the pinstripe.

Morocco Gold!

I know where a fella could save 4k by buying one with 610 miles on it...

*wink*

Vivid black is tough to keep perfect... look at it crooked and there is a swirl mark.
There was a dealer back in Kentucky that would put lime green pins on denim black RG's and SG's, I always thought that looked sharp.

Shiny black and chrome - it's always in style.

Here's a couple of pictures I took earlier today for an ebay ad for my chrome crash bar. My black bar and black license plate holder should be here early next week and will take some decent pics then. Changed the turn signal lenses to smoke today and couldn't believe how much better the entire bike looked. Not sure yet of axle covers. Might throw in a little dab of chrome or might stick with the black. Last mods in this phase will be grips, black levers and black highway pegs.

Denim is an inferior finish in terms of maintenance, cleaning, etc. Google it.

I don't get the denim look at all. Glossy is the way to go!
