Default Corbin for street glide

Looking to get a corbin for my street glide. Gambler vs gunfighter. Any views? Thanks in advance.

I made a promise to Mike Corbin that i would never miss a chance to share my experience with Corbin:

i bought a premium priced gunfighter seat for my bike- it arrived "hard as hell" and my rear would go numb after 40 minutes.

I called Corbin CS and they said- "it'll break in, if it doesn;t call us and well take care of you".

so I rode on, swapping the stock seat on when ever I had a ride of any length planed.

after a few months the Corbin was still hard and I called corbin..." too late" they said.

soon after I noticed the covering was cracking and coming apart

they said "sun exposure"

i told them the bike was garaged and the only time it was out in teh daylight, it was shaded by my butt.

so there's my story...paid alot of money for a seat that was next to unusable and the covering didn't last a year...

Mike

Are you riding solo or do you have a rider or will your rider us a bar towel?

Had one on my softail and hated it.
Hard, but not as hard as the LePera.
It was like sitting on a leather covered brick.

Hate em' both and I couldn't be paid to run either of em'.

I bought a used dual tour have ridden over 800 miles a day on it several times. It is firm however it stays firm and I don't feel pressure points on my butt like other seats. You need to try 1. There not for everyone.
Plug , plug . I have a classic solo for sale in the classified.

Corbin seats are either a love 'em or hate 'em proposition. They do typically offer outstanding customer service, but they do run on the hard side. That said, seat choices are a VERY subjective deal...kind of like exhausted, colors, and handlebars, anybody else's opinions are pretty much worthless. And, like those things, sometimes there's no way to inexpensively decide what you really like or want...ya just gotta try it.

For a Corbin seat, the best way to buy is use their ride-in service...you ride there with your bike and your normal riding partner, and have them custom make your seat. No extra charge, but the seat ain't cheap, either, but at the end of the day, you will have YOUR seat!
