Recently retired and married to a Thai woman I will be spending this winter in Thailand, Chiang Mai area. I will be looking into making Thailand my permanent retirement home. I'd like to know if there are any forum members living in Thailand whom I might contact to gather information and ideas on living here.

I worked there for almost 2 years. It was great. I rented a Harley in Pataya once a month. He (OP) married a Thai women, as long as she isn't in her 20's and closer to his age (even 10-15 yrs his Jr) he'll be fine. Land of smiles is fun. Good luck and enjoy your retirement...
