Same set up I have. Just installed Progressive Cartridge kit over this weekend.

Oh yes! There are plenty of threads on changing front forks set-up. The simple things include trying alternative fork oils, which can give a small improvement; changing fork springs, to better match your riding weight; adding after-market dampers such as Emulators or Intiminators; installing complete cartridge inserts, of which there are several brands; changing the entire forks. Be prepared to do plenty of reading, to decide which route(s) to try.

Default Well...

If your looking for a "softer" front ride, which I think you said you were....The Progressives won't do that. You can't have both....less dive...And...Softer ride.

Yes you can have both, with Ricor Intiminators. Inertia valve makes it possible, only product available that does allow a "soft" ride with less brake dive.
