Default Lowering springs with 21" wheel

I got my bike apart again to clean and I was thinking about putting in the Progressive Lowering springs. Will I have any clearance issues with my 21" rim? I had to relocate the fender up about 2". Thanks

How did you raise your fender? If you used brackets which ones? What year and model is your bike?

I used these brackets. This fender is also the lowered one that KC intl sells on eBay. The bike is an 03 FLHT with springs in both forks.

It's hard to say with that setup you have but I would say probably not a good idea. Of course without seeing the bike it is impossible to know. If you had the stock fender it would be fine.

But if the fender is lowered, that makes it closer to the tire and that would give more clearance. So if you think a stock fender would work with those brackets then mine should fit, right? Or am I not understanding you correctly?

The fork bottoms out at the same place (ya just lose the 1" of travel) so I don't see where there would be any clearance issues? I would do the racetech kit with shorter dampers and gold or Ricor valves to keep some ride/handling over just cheap progressive springs.

The question is with the fender where it sits now which is not stock location how much if any clearance is there when the forks hit full travel. If the fender really sits 2" higher than stock than it is questionable.
