It's been too quiet about the Road Glide recently....Anyone else as anxious as I am about a new release????...Was waiting all Summer to purchase a 14, currently have a 07, only to be dissapointed w/the news release...Truely hoping the bike doesn't fall to the way side and is forgotten about...

 

RUMORS........

It was scheduled for a mid year 2014 release.

But because all the problems/bugs of the "Rushmore Projected", it's been delayed for a 2015 model year.

Once again, rumors. Time will tell.

its been so quiet because there hasn't been any news. until hd releases something, it's all gonna be guesswork and conjecture. i just got a 2013 cvo roadglide so i'm not chomping at the bit for a new bike, but i am interested in what they come up with.....

 

HD had / has a lot of things in the pipe right now; 110th celebrations, the 2013 Breakout release, Rushmore bike release, the 2014 1/2 500/750 Street release, 2015 Road Glide....it's coming but any company only has so many resources.

Besides, now we can add to the rumor list the addition of the 1800CC Revolution X3 engine to the Road Glide!

 

Same here, not ready to purchase anything new, but definitely want to see what HD comes out with for the RG

Now that they have introduced us to liquid cooling and it will be like when fuel injection came out, some of us will hold out doing without it as long as we can until there no longer is a choice. This being said I predict that the new Road Glide will come with a V Rod motor. The sales of V Rods are dismal and they have to keep using these engines somewhere to offset the horrendous cost of designing and production. That would have me thinking about adding another bike to the garage!
