I got the stage 1 download on my 2012 RK. Bike runs great. If nothing else, it gave me peace of mind.

I put V&H Dresser Duals and Monster Rounds on my '11 Limited. It ran great, spark plugs looked good after 1,000 miles, no popping, etc. Didn't see the need for intake mods or download, based on my research of the Delphi fuel management system. BUT, I took it in for a tire and let the service manager talk me into the SE big air intake kit and Stage 1 download to "prevent a potential lean condition". Results: my mileage dropped from 42 to 34. That's it. No perceptible difference in performance.

I am not an advocate of the Stage 1 download unless you keep the stock headpipe or atleast put a 2-1-2 back on. The True Duals and 2-1 don't really work real good with it. There may be more than 1 stage 1 download. The ones I have looked at only add fuel up in the wide open throttle area and add little timing and take away a couple of degress in high cruise are, which is too high already. None of this should have changed fuel mileage unless you changed your riding style and twist that right wrist a bunch more.
