1) A few times now I've tried to power up my radio and It wont turn on. I will hold the button, push the button several times, etc... and it wont turn on. I have to shut off the bike and turn it back on to get it to start.

2) Also.... A few times the Home/Menu screen appears on top of the Navigation Screen instead of switching over to the normal home/menu screen. Again I have to shut off the bike and turn it back on to make it work.

Anybody else have these problems? I searched the forum and couldnt find these specific two problems. Havent had a chance to get it into the dealer yet.

I checked the Harley Website and confirmed I have the latest update available.

 

Sometimes my radio never turns on either. All I see is the Harley logo and nothing else. And the other day I lost control of the radio all together while it was playing. Who knows, seems like a glitch. I am sure as soon as they update it again it will be fine.

 

I have the 4.3 version of the Boom system on my 14 SG, and I've had problems similar to both of those you report. Can't predict when it will happen. I found if I turn the bike off, and let it sit a minute or two, then turn it back on the problem resolves for the moment. I'd say it happens to me every couple of weeks now.

All just part of the "entertainment package"? Funny y'all have this, the "infotainment" in my Dodge pickup went nuts this morning, and when I took it by the Dodge house the service writer said his 2014 Limited he got a couple of weeks back is doing the same thing. He called Harley and was told a fix is in the next update, just no idea when that update will be out.

 

common I hear, mine does it to if I start touching buttons before it boots up....
