Default My Reservoir Door Mod

Removed one clip, lower left .Now i can remove my reservoir door by hand, just grab lower left and pop out.No movement of door without clip. I also carry two water bottles filled with antifreeze <well marked>and a small funnel in a 1gal ziploc baggie. So if my bike takes a **** I'm ready to rehydrate it.

There is no need to carry spare coolant. it has been well published that the twin-cooled 103 will run fine without coolant until you can find a source and re-fill.

Cool, so where are you putting the spare gas, oil, and brake fluid? Might need those too sometime.

yeah, but that way all he has to do is pull over and look in the lower.....not try and go home, parts store or dealer. think its not a bad idea....just a bit of prior planning.

Thread.....Reservoir Door Mod The antifreeze is what I do to be prepared when I'm in the middle of nowhere. I have a gas gauge that works & I check my oil and I never lose any brake fluid( clear windows).Heat kills, I won't be running my bike low on antifreeze! Plus I have so much room on my 2014 Electric glide ultra limited I have to put something in those saddlebags. They do make a gas can that fits inside the rear of the saddlebag I have been thinking about. You can never be too prepared IMO. There's too many guys out there on the side of the road that aren't (holding up the whole group )that I just might be able to help out.

I'm sure the motor runs fine, but what effect does the lack of liquid have on the water pump? I know running some pumps dry will damage/ruin them.
