Default Tour Pak Adjustment for Heated Hammock Seat

Just received my heated hammock seat I purchased on Ebay... $425 for a 2012 CVO heated hammock... it's worth every dime!! Way more comfortable ride, the heat in the *** is nice when its in the 40's, pushed me back a little off the tank which is nice.

My question is, can I move the tour back at all? I like using my riders back rest and my woman (5'2" 115lbs and she's hot!) has mentioned there's is not as much room on the back seat now... I would appreciate some responses

the tourpak comes with 2 possible positions, check that yours is in the rearward.

a 3rd position is possible with a couple of holes drilled and a 1/2 handful of hardware.

forum member "dawg" has posted a how to.

search for it.

other wise you can spend a couple of hundred bucks for a new mounting rack.

$x vs $xxx

some guys will refuse to drill 2 holes and spend $5 when it is possible to spend more on their "$25000 investment"

when you do this, get your 5'2" Pal to help hold the tourpak as you loosen the bolts from the rack, keeps the lid from getting stressed

I went with the adjustable Kurakyn one myself.

Adjustments can be made without tools 1" forward to 3" back from the stock position.

Yep, went with Kuryakyn #8973 adjustable without tools. Convenient to change position for rider during break on long rides. Works with detach kits too, that's my next addition.
If you're looking for just another inch, use the hardware store trick though....it works too.
