Buy from the dealer that gives you the best price unless you like giving money away.

When you need service, take it to the dealer that you feel most comfortable with. Any service department doesn't care where your bike came from. They will service it just the same. It's a business. They are in it to be profitable, they won't turn you away.

Good luck.

The dealer I bought my bike from is not the same one I get service and parts from. They are really nice and have done a lot of warranty work and other add ons for me. 6 months after buying my bike the first dealer closed (Rossmeyers in Ft Lauderdale).
Nurture a good relationship with all the dealers around where you live. Go chat to service and parts when you go visit.

Buy from the one that gives you the best deal. Then buy yourself a service manual and do your own servicing. Im sure either dealership will be happy to service your bike if needed

I purchased my bike from a out of town dealership (2 hours away). My local dealership has no problems or issues servicing my bike.

Ding, ding, ding... We have a winner!

For sure check out the SERVICE dept. A good salesperson or good deal has nothing to do with a good service dept. Hopefully you will find both. Good luck.

I was at gatto & three rivers. One place was totally cool and one was like visiting a used car lot on a bad day. I'll pm details if you're interested. I don't want to slag anyone in public.

I feel fortunate to have found both a good deal, great people and good service all in my local dealer- Workman HD of RockFalls IL. I was introduced to every employee that was working on the day of the sale, got a tour of the service department and treated like family. Best experience buying a large ticket item-ever!

I have used the same dealer for service and warrenty work on all of the bikes. I have never purchased from them. It doesn't matter to them they make money no matter where you bought it. If they treat you well in the service maybe you will consider them for your next purchase of a bike.

I have two dealerships "near" me and they're both the same distance away.

It matters but only because I know more people where I bought my bike and they know me. That's always a plus. Being a perfect stranger sucks, when the other place knows my name.
