In Delaware we are one of only three states that have strictly numeric plates. The less digits and the lower the number the more expensive and prestigious it is. It is a hot commodity here. I have a low four digit plate and could easily sell it for $2-3k. #MC123 is on the market for $20k. #MC62 for $9500. #121 for regular vehicles is on the market for $199k. In fact several years ago DuPont offered the owner of #24 $250k and he turned it down.

It's funny you say that. My son was busting my chops saying my request would get rejected after some human at the DMV thought it met "fill in the blanks..." This went on for weeks.
