The only things you would be touching is the touch screen and the access door to the USB port.

 

I love the look over the flat black non-painted POS!

 

Damn Rick that inner fairing is looking good brother, I ordered a Amber Whiskey 2014 but I'm overseas right now and won't take delivery until June 2014. I was looking at getting my inner fairing painted to what's the best and cheapest way to getting it done. Buy a new fairing or just get that one repainted, would like to know what you think because your bike is looking good.

 

I painted my 07 Ultra the primary color of the bike and is cleaner. The 14 SGS gloss black is nice and easy to clean. Not much of an issue. I get more finger prints on the Infotainment screen!

 

I painted my 12 SG ember red the same as the bike and find it way easier to keep clean and looks way better

 

the moco has had painted inner fairings available for sale through the p&a catalog for years. this is nothing new.

 

I'm Street Glide shopping and am considering the denim black SGS.

But WTF! they have the gloss black inner fairing on a denim bike. It's actually an issue for me. Why spend the $$$ on a SGS vs. a SG standard, at least as far as a demin paint option goes. So I would have to paint it denim. Goofy. The point of going with the SGS was to minumize future expensive mods.

 

I have never noticed any glare from mine or finger prints (sunglow) and the only people who say its a problem are one's that don't have it.
Go figure, a man spends hours polishing and way to much money on chrome for his ride and worries about glare!

 

I like it. The unpainted one got pretty faded looking after a few years.

 

No different than every other color EXCEPT vivid black.
