I have one of them handy rollers for my rear wheel from HF...cost about 20 bucks...ride onto it..Kick stand down, in neutral, chock on the front and roll the wheel very easily to clean....then flip it to the front....no problem.
I use the Miracle eraser too...but for in between cleanings I use Purple Power from walmart 50/50 with water....works great, spray it on hose it off

I have the wide whites on my '98 Heritage Springer Anniversary bike, and the thin whites on the '08 RK.
I use Wesley's Bleech White to keep them clean most of the time but I sometimes put the bike(s) on the jack and also use SOS pads if they're really grimey.
If I'm in a lazy mode, I just use the power washer on them after applying the Wesley's.
If you ride in the rain, you'd be amazed how clean your whitewalls will get if you spray the Wesley's on your tires before you ride.

Westleys Beach White.
Don't get too abrasive with your cleaning, it can make 'em harder to get clean next time.
You want them clean, white, and shiney slick to stay clean.
Think about it...
I wash my 'King, and do the WWW last. Spray on the WBW, soft brush, rinse well.
Nutin' to it!
I used to know a guy that would swear by using a wire brush on his white walls on his car. Problem is, it would scratch 'em up, make 'em tough to clean down the road...
Feel how slick they are when they are new - that's how you want to keep 'em.
